MEET THE OWNER — VIVIANE

A long passion of caring for animals

An animal enthusiast right from young

If you’d asked me in second grade what I wanted to be, everyone already knew the answer: a vet!

THE EARLY YEARS
viviane-as-a-child

Starts volunteering at Quincy Animal Shelter

As a pet care assistant at the Quincy Animal Shelter and later at the Animal Rescue League in Dedham, I received training on pet behavior and started fostering animals when needed.

Under the guidance of an inspiring small business owner and mentor, I gained skills that extended far beyond basic cat care.

Graduates from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences

I graduated with a bachelor of science in medical and molecular biology and started exploring career options — but my passion for pet care kept calling.

Starts job at VCA Rotherwood Animal Hospital

In various roles, I learned the right questions to assess a pet’s condition and medication needs, honed my customer service skills, navigated business finances and took on leadership responsibilities.

2020

Expands pet care client base

While working with City Kitty Boston, I also took on clients through Rover and Care to build my own clientele.

2021

Bruno falls ill

My first pet and soulmate, Bruno, showed symptoms from liver disease, leading me to take time off from the hospital while managing my pet business. After living longer than expected, he passed away peacefully at home in March 2023.

VIVE Pet Care is born

I made it official and launched my own pet care business: VIVE Pet Care! I truly enjoy taking care of pets and working on my own schedule so I can be home for my own fur babies.

Elaine F.

DOG AND CAT SITTER

I’m a hairstylist and certified groomer, and have also taken some vet tech courses in the past. I’ve loved animals my whole life but was never allowed any pets growing up. I'm now a proud pawrent of a Bichon and a Tabby in my little family. Leaving your fur babies can be worrisome, but rest assured, I’ll care for them just as I do my own.

Christina C.

CAT SITTER

I was raised in a dog-loving family but that changed when my daughter wanted a kitten and we brought one into the family. I started working for VIVE when it was City Kitty and quickly became obsessed with taking care of and getting to know your kitties. I look forward to each visit, and it’s an honor to provide love and attention to your purrfect little ones.

CAT SITTER

My love for cats started with our family cat, a fluffy tuxedo named Bloo, but my obsession took off when I adopted my first cat, Bear. I’m drawn toward shy, timid cats and am well-versed in medication dosage. I currently have two cats of my own, Chowder and Gorgonzola. When I’m not caring for your felines, you can find me manning the box offices at local concert venues.

DOG AND CAT SITTER

Born and raised in Quincy, MA, I’m currently pursuing my master’s in computer engineering at USC in California. I grew up around animals (specifically, two dogs). After visiting all of your cute kitties, I became a cat lover and recently adopted a senior cat, Zinnie. As a seasonal sitter for VIVE, I take care of your fur babies with the same love and attention I give my own pet.

CAT SITTER

I’m a dental hygienist who loves all animals, especially kitties. Growing up, I had four cats who all lived to be 18! I currently have two of my own fur babies; they are my LIFE and I would do anything for them. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pet at home when you travel, so I’m here to ease your anxiety—your cats will be in purrfect hands!

CAT SITTER

Originally from the South Shore, I now call Newton, MA home with my husband. With several years of experience working with kitties, I absolutely love what I do! As a huge animal lover, I share my life with two adorable cats and a spoiled chihuahua. I also run a cleaning business that keeps my days lively and busy.
